How often should I visit the dentist?

Most patients should visit the dentist every 6 months for routine check-ups and cleanings. However, some patients may need to visit more frequently based on their individual oral health needs. Your dentist will recommend a schedule that's right for you.

What should I bring to my first appointment?

For your first appointment, please bring:

  • Photo ID and insurance card (if applicable)
  • Completed new patient forms (or plan to complete them online)
  • A list of current medications and dosages
  • Any relevant medical history or dental records from previous providers
What if I'm nervous about visiting the dentist?

Many patients feel anxious about dental visits, and we understand. Our team is specially trained to help anxious patients feel comfortable. We offer:

How long does a typical appointment take?

Appointment times vary depending on the type of treatment:

  • Routine cleaning and exam: 45-60 minutes
  • Fillings: 30-60 minutes per tooth
  • Crowns and other restorations: 60-90 minutes

We'll provide you with an estimated time when you schedule your appointment.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

We require 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule appointments. This allows us to accommodate other patients who may need to see us. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please call us at (555) 123-4567 or use our online portal.

Failure to provide 24 hours notice may result in a cancellation fee for certain appointments.

Insurance & Billing Policies

Insurance Processing

We process claims for most major dental insurance plans. As a courtesy to our patients, we will file your insurance claim for you. You will be responsible for any deductibles, co-pays, or portions not covered by your insurance.

Please note that insurance coverage varies by plan, and we cannot guarantee what your insurance will cover. We will provide you with an estimate of your financial responsibility before beginning any treatment.

Billing & Payment Policies

Payment is due at the time of service for all non-insurance charges. We accept:
